Outstanding intensity and team
work in all position. Scoring came from an individual
effort by Amy getting a loose ball from a defender on
the left wing and
knocking it in for a goal. |
May31 13:15
MP24 - Away |
Andromeda 92G |
1-1 |
Again a tremendous team
performance. Scoring came from an individual effort by
Ginsa to beat a defender on the right wing and blast it
past the keep for a score. Defense was steady even
with players asked to play NOT in their normal position. |
Jun01 12:30
BP04 - Away |
Odyssey 92G |
1-1 |
This is the pinnacle of team
performance and playing with heart. Scoring came
from a combination play starting from Emily to Amy to
Ginsa and a one-on-one with the keep and a left footed
tap-in to the back of the net. Alison with tremendous saves.
Defense came through again and the guest players were
outstanding additions. GOOD LUCK NEXT SEASON! |

Sep01 07:30 NE13 - Away |
Lonestars 92G Blue |
1-2 |
A frustrating loss. The
opponent took advantage of mistakes made in this game.
Score came from Ginsa's PK where the goalie blocked it
and Ginsa got to the loose ball and follow through with
a score. |
|
Sep01 13:30 NE14 - Home |
TSC Challenge 92 Blitz |
1-1 |
TPFC92G could not get their
heads in the game. A score from Maddies patented
free kick from 30 yards held up until the last five
minutes of the game. Alas a tie. |
|
Sep02 09:00 NE15 - Away |
Waco United 92G |
6-0 |
Finally TPFC92G managed to
be their own selves. The offense came alive at this game
and uncorked itself with goals coming from Amy (4) ,
Ginsa (1) and Maddie (1). Assists from Maddie (2),
Kelsey (2), Amy (10). Alison with 3 saves. |

Lonestars 92G White |

First game
of the season showed some promise, but if you don't
shoot the ball you don't score. Allison with great
saves. |
|
Aug18 14:00
VP8 - Home |
Classic Elite 92G Blue |
0-0 |
85%
possession of the ball (est.), 17 shots and a well
balanced play through out the field still netted a tie
game. To rephrase the comment from the first game
above "If you shoot the ball, you will have a better
chance to score a goal". However, this is
soccer and today lady luck was not with us. |
|
Aug19 09:30 VP3 - Away |
Lonestars 93G Red |
0-3 |
TPFC92G
were dominated at the midfield. Had a few chances to
score but the opponent's defensive stop were stellar.
More pressure on the ball the second half resulted in a
better showing. The opponent were unable to mount
further organized attack. Allison with 5 saves.
All in all TPFC92G looked
great at these friendlies. They adjust well to the
coaches assigning them different positions. Having
the ball 90% of the time on the ground, passing,
overlapping, etc, are encouraging. Well done
ladies! Our two new ladies (Brittany and Alison)
are adjusting well and a valuable addition to the team. |

13-Apr 10:00
BP06 - Home |
TSC Challenge Blitz 92 |
1-0 |
First game of
the National Cup showed many inconsistencies and lack of
scoring opportunities in part due to a stingy defense by the
opponent and lack of good runs and through balls in the
final third. One defensive lapse by the opponent in
the final 2 minutes of the game puts TPFC92G in the winning
column. The lone score came from a corner kick by Maddie
(assist awarded) and a scrum in front of the goal where
Colleen (assist awarded) managed to get a foot in to knock
it loose and Heidi's quick heads up play to tap it to the
back of the net. Our three new additions, Heidi, Colleen and
Veronica were very effective and fit well into the system
today. Well done. |
20-Apr 12:00
BP01 - Away |
TSC Challenge 92 |
0-4 |
Game plan was
executed well by the girls, however, mental mistake cannot
be afforded against a very good team in today's game, hence,
the lost. |
27-Apr 14:00
BP02 - Away |
Eclipse 92 Black |
0-0 |
Uneventful game
with difficulty keeping the shape and mounting any
significant attacks. Defense was steady throughout. |
04-May 16:00
BP04 - Away |
Albion Hurricanes 92G Blue |
1-2 |
Competitive
game through and through. Lots of good thru ball but,
one mental mistake puts us on the losing side. Score came
from Amy assisted by Maddie. |
11-May 18:00
BP04 - Home |
Albion Hurricanes 92G
Black |
1-0 |
An aggressive
pressure just out side the opponent's box by Ginsa and
Veronica resulted in a game winning mistake by their goalie.
The infraction was a hand ball outside the box thus a direct
kick at the top of the box with Maddie releasing a perfect
blast pass the wall and to the right of the goalie.
Through all the adversaries endured this season, overall it
was a successful season again. Well done ladies! |

16-Sep 08:00 KP14 - Home |
Space City 92G |
4-2 |
Opener game of the new season
has plenty of shots, passing and pressure. TPFC92G did not focus for the entire game only spurts of
brilliances and gave up two goals. Scoring came
from Kristyn (1) from a heady cross from Kelly, Maddie
(2), Amy (1). Assist from Kelly (1), Ginsa (1),
Emily (1), Kelsey (1) and Maddie (1). |
23-Sep 08:00
KP14 - Home |
Albion Hurricanes 92G Black |
3-1 |
First half of this game has
several long ball miss-opportunities by the
opponent while our ladies struggles to string passes.
Alas 0-0 at the half. The second half TPFC92G
turn it up a notch. The short passes were working
to perfection and the opponent were chasing most of the
second half. Scoring came from Vivi (1), on a
break out goal with assist from Amy (1); Amy (1) from a
return favor assist from Vivi (1); Maddie (1) on a
bender corner kick to the back of the net. Solid
goal keeping from Alison with 5 saves and lastly a
welcome sight on the pitch and a well played return to the game by
Kaitlyn after a long rehab from an ACL injury. |
30-Sep 12:00
ZP03 - Away |
ASC Mystic 92 Black |
4-0 |
TPFC92G
finds it difficult to play an inspired game today for
all 80 minutes and the ball movement was slow as
molasses. Not a typical TPFC92G kind of game,
nevertheless a 4-0 shutout game. Scoring came from Maddie (2) where one of them was a one of a kind head
butting vertical post almost knocked out goal; Ginsa (1)
and Kaitlyn (1); Assist came from Ginsa (2) and Vivie
(2). Another excellent defense by all the backs
and 5 saves from Alison. |
14-Oct 08:00
KP14 - Home |
TSC Challenge Blitz 92 |
5-1 |
TPFC92G
came out blazing today. 15 minutes into the first half
the game was tight until Ginsa made a great run on the
right wing beating her defender and unleashed a cross to
Amy which was mishandled but picked-up by Emily with a
gorgeous one touch tap to the back of the net. From this
point forward TPFC92G were playing inspired ball
especially Emily who notched possibly her first trifecta
(hat trick) and Maddie not far behind with two goals.
Assist was by Amy (3), Ginsa (2) and Maddie (2).
Kaitlyn filling in for Alison as the back-up goalie in
the second half was simply great with 3 saves. |
21-Oct 08:00
EP04 - Away |
Eclipse 92 Black |
2-1 |
The first 25
minutes of the game was good with 2 goals in the pocket. The
rest of the time was simply unpleasant. TPFC92G
were struggling all the way and was
content to play not to loose. Amy and Maddie with 1 goal
each. Ginsa with 2 assists and Maddie & Amy with 1
assist each. Kaitlyn playing goalie was good
considering how the whole team had played. |
28-Oct 12:00
CP35 - Away |
Space City 92G |
3-0 |
Two quick
goals early in the first half settled into a game of "Let's pass
the ball?". There was only 6 shots taken and not until the middle of the second half,
when an unfortunate call caused TPFC92G to be down a
player, that the the team started to play with a
more sense of urgency and netted another goal.
Alison's first game back with a healthy shoulder was her
usual self with 4 saves and a shut-out. Scoring came each from Ginsa, Amy and Maddie; Assist from Amy (2) and Maddie (1). |
04-Nov 08:00
ZP02 - Away |
Albion Hurricanes 92G Black |
0-1 |
TPFC92G could
not penetrate the opponents low pressure defense strategy
where everyone
gets back behind the midfield line and the 18 yd line.
TPFC92G did not adjust to the game given to them. One long ball
caused them the game. Alas chalk one up in the lost column. |
11-Nov 12:00
KP14 - Home |
ASC Mystic 92 Black |
4-2 |
A good
recovery from the last weeks' game. Excellent ball
movement creating opportunities to score. Midfielders
were in control and had many good through passes in the
final 1/3 of the field. Amy with a hat trick plus one
and assists came from Ginsa with 4 and Emily with 1. |
01-Dec 14:00
BP06 - Away |
TSC Challenge Blitz 92 |
1-3 |
TPFC92G gave
the game away with uninspired soccer. The opponent deserved
the win with their hustle. Visiting team was playing
in the mud while the home team was high and dry. Lone
score came from Amy. |
02-Dec 10:00
KP16 - Home |
Eclipse 92 Black |
0-3 |
A combination
of intensity and opportunity by the opponent to be No. 1 in the
bracket and with TPFC92G down to 11 players due to injuries
resulted in the 0-3 beating. Heal and good luck in the
next round. |
24-Feb 12:00
KP20 - Home |
Eclipse 92 Black |
0-0 |
A draw in
this game was more than acceptable considering the fact that
TPFC92G has not practiced together since December 2007.
This was battle of the "keeps" with outstanding
saves from both sides. |
02-Mar 08:00
KP17 - Home |
TSC Challenge Blitz 92 |
2-1 |
Amy scored
the first goal assisted by Alison in the first half.
Maddie finished the second half and the game with another goal. |
09-Mar 16:00
KP14 - Home |
Pursuit 92 Blue |
1-0 |
Last
minute goal by Ginsa from Amy's miss shot put TPFC92G in
the winning column. |
29-Mar 08:00
CP38 - Home |
United Alliance 91/92 |
5-0 |
Better ball
movement and possessions. Amy with a hat-trick, Ginsa with
one and Kelsey with one. Assist came from: Ginsa (1), Britt
(1), Maddie (3) and Carly (1) |
30-Mar 12:00
ZP02 - Away |
Albion Hurricanes 92G Black |
0-0 |
Tired legs from
HS soccer and back-to-back game resulted in a draw. A
special kudos to our defensive group, Carly, Tori, Kristyn,
Jamie, Kelly and Alison on a stellar job in defending our
goal this last round. Well done this
season to finish on top of the table. |
