the score. Liana with 7 saves. |

The

turn, controlled the entire game and came out with a
win. Overall this weekend has showed that the girls
mental toughness are maturing and progressing in the
positive. Liana has expanded her comfort zone to
the 18 yard box and defensively the girls did not
allowed a single goal against. Well done girls!!! |

outstanding and Liana with four great saves. |

A
frustrating and nail biting game. After an early

saves the day by shutting down any possible offensive
threat. |

The
girls were trying too hard to shape the game their way

they settle with two goals coming from Maddie with
assist from Kaitlyn and Lauren with assist from Maddie.
Defense kept the opponent in checked again. |

This
championship game was difficult and sluggish. The

that the girls are able to bounce back, recover and
continue fighting against challenges. Well done

Dallas Sting Black 92G |
4-1 |
After a
long break, the girls were excited to play as a team
again considering they were in high school training
since November. After only a couple practices together,
the girls expected that the Dallas teams would be
brutal competition; but that didn't stop them from
fighting back. The girls started out of the gate quickly; putting together wonderful passing combinations
and keeping the game at a high pace. Missy scores a free
kick and a PK after being fouled twice, and Amy has a
nice left footed shot hitting the right lower corner.
Our Defense was tough and the midfield was in control,
and again Missy finishes off the game with a classy
break away after a heads up play from Vivi for the
assist. What a great start for TPFC 92. |
|
Apr6 14:00 RC1 - Home |
Texas Football Club 92G |
1-0 |
This
game was very physical, lethargic and painful. The girls seemed
tired and fatigued while trying to put together attacks. Vivi and Kendall,
however, had a very good control of the game,
winning the 50-50 balls in the middle and setting a
pretty solid pace. The opponent had about 3 corners in a
5-10
minutes span, and the girls just couldn't get an up and
over clearance, but after the 3rd corner, Ginsa has a
clear pass to Missy from the back which resulted on a 3 v
goalie
attack with Missy, Amy and Ginsa. Missy cuts past the
keeper and has a nice composed finish. Defense by Carly,
Kristen, Lauren, Kelly
were solid again and Leana was stellar defending the
goal with 4 outstanding saves. |
|
Apr7 14:00 RC2 - Away |
Amarillo High Plains Drifter 92 |
3-1 |
The
last game of the weekend, the girls wanted to prove that
they could win with Dylan not available. And so they did! The
beginning of the game, Drifters scores a goal in the
first half and Premier was down 1-0 at the half. After
making brilliant player adjustments in the second half,
the girls pulls through with goals from Missy, Emily with a
back post finish, and Maddie's famous free kicks. Kudos
to the girls this weekend playing against three physical
teams! Honorable mention to Carly who was quite beat up
but holds her ground defensively. Great job to
all. |

A
solid win for the first game of the season against our

off the wings. One outstanding save by Liana on an
opponents'
breakaway. |

Coined a phrase from one of the parent "who turned off
the switch" during the first half where after an early
first half score, the girls could not get the engine
going. Tied 1-1 going into the second half, the
girls put it in high gear and came out with a win.
The back was a little disorganized but recovered
quickly. Scoring came from Emily, Maddie, Amy and
Ginsa with assist from Kelsey, Missy, Kendall and
Viviana. |

Missy
with one goal after a calculated assist from Amy and
Ginsa with a fabulous winning header goal from a perfect
free kick to the six yard line in font of the goal by
Kendall with a couple of minutes left in the game.
Although the girls had different level of motivation in
this game, the opponents' were allowed only one shot and
a penalty kick. The good guys had eighteen shots. |

Tied with
one goal a piece going into the second half, the girls wore
down the opponents using relenting attacks, stingy defense
and outstanding ball movements using every inch of the
pitch and came out with a win. Scoring came from Ginsa, Amy, Kelsey and Kaitlyn with
excellent assists by Alison, Missy and Kelsey. Liana
with 1 save. |

Pursuit 92 Blue |

One
defensive lapse in the first half resulted in a tie with one
goal a piece at the end of the half. Controlling the
middle and constant pressures broke the opponents' game plan
the second half. The girls had plenty of "golasos" to
share. Missy with two goals (assists Amy), Ginsa has one
goal (assist Kaitlyn), Amy with one goal (assist Missy),
Emily also has one goal (assist Alison) and to top it off
Alison with a great header goal from a corner kick by
Kendall. Liana with 2 saves. Well done ladies! |

Dynamos 91/92 |
1-0 |
Another
one of those frustrating game for the girls where the
efforts were there but the result was not up to par. Credit
the opponent for not giving up to the end. The lone score
came from Maddie from her usual precise corner kick close to
the front of the goal that caused the goalie to blocked it
into her own goal. Congratulations girls in
finishing 6-0 and 1st Place in the 1st half of the season. |

Oct29 16:00 KP14 - Home |
TSC Challenge Blitz 92 |

The girls
score early and kept a 2-0 lead going into the second half.
Another goal in the second half finished the game. This was
a very good performance by every single player in their
assigned position. Scoring came from Amy (2) with
assists from Ginsa and our goalie, Leana. Missy with one
goal on an exciting one on one attack after a through ball
from Amy (1 assist). |

Wildfire 92 |
1-2 |
The seven
game winning streak ended here. Two defensive lapses and a
struggling offense put the team in the lost column.
This game was not without lack of effort, it was just the
girls could not find the back of the net with two or three
defender in your face most of the time for your shot. The
lone score came from Carly where Ginsa (assist awarded) slid
to get the ball loose from a scrimmage at the 10 to Amy
(assist awarded) who then tapped it to Carly for the shot
that hit the top post and down for the goal. |

(assists: Maddie & Missy); Missy with one goal (assist:
Carly). Liana with one diving save. |

Nov19 09:00 KP13-Visitor |
Eclipse 92 Black |
1-0 |
A clean
sheet with 1-0 win. The girls had 80% possession of
the ball with plenty of passing and fine ball movement.
The only downside was there was not any clean shot to the
opponent's goal. The lone score came from Amy from the
18, lobbed it over the outstretched arm of the goalie, hits
the ground, ricochet of the right post and bounced in for
the goal. |
|
Mar04 11:00 KP14 - Home |
Texas Wave 92 |
2-1 |
In the
thick of HS soccer season, the girls had the opportunity to
play once again after a long break as a team.
The play was rusty; the intention was there but execution
was not. Down 1-0 at the half, the girls continue to be
patient and keep with the game plan. At the 56 min, a
great combo pass from Ginsa (assist) to Missy (assist)
back-heeled to Amy resulted in 1-1 score. The second
goal came late in the game from a cross by Maddie (assist)
to Missy with a one of a kind "Noser". The defense did
their usual strong play. This 2-1 win put the girls strong
on top of the table with one game to go. |

Outstanding and methodical game today. The girls
controlled all aspect of the game from start to finish.
TPFC92 were up 2-0 at the half with Maddie's usual patented
free kick and a gorgeous diagonal through ball from Vivie to
Kelsey who one touched the ball to Missy on the right wing
and finishes it with a strong low far post hitting shot that
bounced to the back of the net. The second half
started with the girls continuing their fast paced passing
combinations game which resulted in an Amy left footed goal
coming from an assist from Missy at the 2 minute mark.
A successful PK by the opponent in the middle of the second half changed the complexion
of the game. The Wildfire were fired up and seems to
breath new life and sure enough the second goal against came
5 minutes later from a corner kick. However down the
stretch, TPFC92 continued to execute
their game and finished the opponent with a beautiful shot
from the 25 by Lauren. Well done ladies. |

Wow... what a whooping! Playing against the best in STX

good thing, many areas to improve upon. On the positive
side, TPFC92 had chances to strike and managed to string
passes with efficiency building up from the back. |
