CSC Rage

1-1

The saying "That's soccer" was in effect here. The team dominated 90% of the game yet one questionable offside goal got through and tied the game. TPFC's goal came on a pass across the front of the goal which Missy hopped over knowing Tori was on a run to slam it to the back of the net.

Bracket

Classics Ellite 91

Although we had many chances for some GOLASO, it didn't happen. A close, well played match didn't go our way this time.

Bracket

Lonestars 91G White

2-0

The team came out ready to play against a good U15 D1 team. The opponent was a bit surprised by our physical and skilled play. 0-0 at the half, breakaway goals by Amy and Missy put us firmly in the lead. Although the team did not advance, it was a good weekend overall.

Wow... what a game!  When the defenders, midfielders, forwards and goalie are clicking, it is a beautiful game to watch.  Ginsa and Amy each was fouled resulting in 2 goals on free-kicks by Maddie.  The first goal was a gorgeous upper-ninety far post deal and the second goal was a low on the ground shot to the left corner.  The three guest players from our sister team filled in the void perfectly.  Worth mentioning was Carly as a defender played an outstanding game.  She was a wall.

Aggieland ASC Mystic 92

2-0

The play was in neutral most part of the game. Change of strategy by putting Amy at attacking mid towards the end pays off with 2 goals from Missy coming off assists from Ginsa.

Feb12 10:10 KP3 - Home

Albion Hurricanes 92 Black

1-0

Once again our defenders did an outstanding job shutting down the opponent.  On the offense there were lots of shots at goal and shots on goal but none connected until late in the game when Maddie hit a gorgeous corner kick 6 yards in front of the goalie and Ginsa had a shot at it but was deflected by a defender to an open Emily who calmly tapped it in for the only score of the game.

Feb12 16:50 KP3 - Home

Texas Premier FC 91/92

2-0

Another shut-out game.  Goals came from Ginsa and Missy in the second half.  Amy at attacking mid was simply in control of the game or out of control from the opponent's perspective.  Liana with two outstanding saves. TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS.

Strong outing by all.  Scoring came from Allison (1), Ginsa (1), Kendall (2), and Missy (1). Assists by Ginsa (1), Lauren (1), Maddie (2), Liana (1) and Missy (1).  Another first for the team are header "Golasos" by Ginsa and Kendall on a corner kick from Maddie and Missy respectively.

Feb19 07:30 DP2 - Away

United Alliance 92

0-2

Our defenders had a hand full against a quick and physical team.  Down by 2 goals at the second half, we started to be more organized and mount a counter attack which almost succeeded twice. No luck this time but fare better than the last meeting with this team.

Feb19 11:30 DP2 - Away

Texas Wave 92

A game where we were in control throughout, including fourteen shots but only netted one goal.  The only goal came from Ginsa on a solo run.. shot the ball..blocked by goalie..loose ball..left footed it in for the score.  THIRD PLACE.

Highlights

Apr14 09:30 BC20 - Away

Texas Premier FC 91

1-1

After almost 8 weeks not playing actual games, the first half looked rusty.  The opponent took advantage and scores one.  The second half was a much different game where we dominated the half.  Our middle controlled the field a lot better.  Our score came from Missy with an outstanding individual effort getting a loose ball and weaving through 2 defender and steadily chip the ball over the goalie.  There were 19 shots and 4 saves but netted a draw.

Apr14 14:00 BC19 - Away

Albion Hurricanes U15G Black

6-0

A good win with solid defending resulted in a clean sheet. The first half started slow with only one goal. The second half we cranked it up a notch and created many highlights with the most memorable one came from Emily. Maddie's cross from the right found a wide open Emily in the far post and with the ball not touching the ground, she juggled the ball twice with her thigh and flicked it pass the goalie. Scoring came from Emily (1), Kelsey (1), Missy (2) and Kendall (2).

Apr15 08:00 BC20 - Away

WHSC JPROS FC 89/90

1-1

A strong dominating showing that only netted a draw.  Goal came from a header by Kendall on a corner kick by Maddie.  Advanced to  the semi final.

Apr15 12:30 BC17 - Away

United Alliance 92

0-2

Our run in this tournament ends in the semifinal. A stingy defense on the opponent side limited our offense to only 2 shots. Liana with 5 outstanding saves. One unlucky bounce and a header goal puts us in the loss column. It was a fairly even match throughout nevertheless.  We will meet again in the first game of the 2006 USYSNC Spring Cup qualifier.

Nov 13 AU Capitals 92G Navy 3-2

Minutes from the end of the first half Missy was fouled on the 24. Kendall stepped up and scores on a bending free kick. Early on the second half AU mounted an attack which resulted in 2 goals back-to-back. Down 2-1, Missy immediately responded with a one bounce and kick looping ball on a right wing throw in from Maddie that ties the game 2-2. At the halfway mark of the second half AU again gave up a foul on Missy which resulted in a Kendall now trade mark bending free kick and gave us the lead for good.  What a way to bounce back!

Nov 20 Classics Elite 92 PL 0-0

A well played and balanced game including outstanding saves by our goalie netted a draw against arguably the strongest team in this bracket.

Dec 04 Lonestars 92G White 2-0

A win where everyone contributed strongly.  Lots of helping defense, outstanding passes to the open areas, one-two passes that stifled the opponent and controlling the middle sums it all up. Scoring comes from Missy with two goals. The first one was a good run on the right wing by Maddie and crossing it hard to Missy for a one touch volley to the back of the net.  The second was Missy receiving a pass from Lauren on the thirty and work her magic weaving through 3 defenders and alertly soft touched the ball through the goalie's legs for another score.

Dec 11 Texas Wave 92 1-2

A win here would put us back in the premier league, but unfortunately this lost puts us in the Classic Flight for next year. Missy with the lone score.

 TSC Challenge 92

0-2

A courageous effort against a good team considering a depleted roster due to injuries.  The game was even until midway in the second half. Well done girls.

May 13 United Alliance 92 0-0

A very exciting game.  Everybody stepped-up their play and had many chances to win it.

May 14 Albion Hurricanes Blue 92 1-1

Clearly a game we control from start to finish.  With 13 shots and lots hitting the posts settled the game with a 1-1 draw.  Early second half, a scramble in front of our goal puts us down by 1, however, we did not falter and tied the game with 5 minutes to go.  Our midfielders were fantastic and our defender's flat back four were disciplined enough to cost  4 offside. The score came from Missy after a stunning center ball from Maddie to Missy in the middle and an even more dazzling one-two (wall) pass between Missy and Ginsa (assist awarded) at the 15 yard resulted Missy to be wide open and knocked it in with authority.  Although most likely not advancing, playing with so much HEART in this cup play was most rewarding.  Well done girls and look forward to a better and exciting season next year.   HAVE A GREAT SUMMER.
