soccer. Diagonal passes, balls to the flags, endline crosses,
shots on goal, great defensive work, etc. added up to 5 scores:
(1) Amber shoots from the middle after recieving the ball from
Kendall (2) Ginza connects on a Kendall cross after receiving
a great pass from Brianna (3) Madelyn's free kick results in an
own goal (4) and (5) Laura is positioned perfectly near the net
to tap in the ball twice! |

TPFC controlled most of the game, had excellent crosses, lots
of shots on goal, the ball never made it to the back of the net. |

net with a nice one touch shot off her signature left foot. FC
Dallas finds a way to score late in the game leaving us with a

almost scored twice but the ref ruled the ball did not cross the
line both times. However, the game was sealed when Amy crosses
the ball to Madelyn who somehow managed to get the ball in the
middle of many Hurricane defenders and tapped it in for the score. |

A
little rusty at first after a 30 day layoff, TPFC quickly fell
into a groove by keeping Danielle bored in goal. Due to a stingy
defense, Danielle only touched the ball a few times. TPFC quickly
jumped into the lead after a PK by Madelyn. Emily C followed with
a score off a corner kick, and then Madelyn finished it off by
scoring on a long free kick. |

This
game was a rematch of the first game of the state finals weekend
a month ago. Everyone was interested to see how TPFC would fare
against AUSC without the pressure and excitement of state finals.
Well, the fans were not dissapointed. A great performance with
lots of shots and great passing combinations. The lone score was
the result of Ginsa pressuring the keeper with Kendall scoring
off the rebound. |

tough first half with lots of miss kicks and poor first touches
was improved upon in the second half. Although TPFC went down
0-1 early in the second half, a free kick by Madelyn over the
keepers hands tied the game late in the second half. |

TPFC dominated the first half and most of the game, and thanks
to 2 highlight film saves by Danielle, the score was tied 0-0
with a minute remaining. Kendall was fouled in the penalty area
giving Brianna a chance to put us in front.. Bri kicked a solid
ball into the back of the net to the goalies left giving TPFC
the win. Because of United's win, the State Championship will
be decided by the game against, who else, United. |

Dawn
broke with "the frozen tundra" of Williamson County
Regional Park, the skies were clear, the winds were calm, and
TPFC 92 came ready to play. The first half started with an almost
quick goal by United; however, TPFC recovered and made a game
of it. A few more alert saves by Danielle kept the game in control,
and our offense of Ginsa, Laura, and Emily kept the United defense
awake with some scoring opportunities. Tied 0-0 at half, TPFC
started to control the game. Finally a break-away by Madelyn resulted
in her patented looping shot from the 18 underneath the cross
bar. TPFC 1 United 0.. It was back and forth a few times after
that but United ran out of time and TPFC 92 became:
